15 July 2026 is an important date for us — Vizoo, our mobile app for zoos, has officially launched at Gdańsk Zoo.

This is a unique implementation for at least two reasons. Firstly — the scale. Gdańsk Zoo is the largest zoo in Poland in terms of area (approx. 125 hectares in the picturesque Leśny Młyn Valley in Oliwa). Secondly — it is the first full-scale implementation of Vizoo, a product that has evolved from our long-standing AppAudioGuide platform, which has been tried and tested in museums across Poland.

What do visitors gain?

With such a large area, it’s easy to miss something — and this is precisely where Vizoo makes a difference:

  • Interactive map and navigation — animal enclosures, food outlets, toilets, everything at your fingertips
  • Route planner — choose the animals you want to see, and the app will map out the best route
  • Planning your visit around feeding times — select the feedings and shows you’re interested in, and the app will remind you with a notification and plan your route so you’ll make it in time
  • Offline mode — you can download content before your visit and use the guide even in areas with poor signal
  • Games and quizzes for children — your visit turns into an adventure
  • Animal descriptions and translations — also available in English, with international visitors in mind

What are the benefits for the zoo?

Vizoo is not just an app for visitors. The zoo receives a CMS dashboard to manage its own content — news, feeding schedules, announcements — as well as advanced visitor traffic analytics to support management decisions.

What’s important to us: we support Polish AI — data analysis is based on the Polish language model Bielik, and data is not transferred to American big tech companies. Processing takes place in full compliance with the GDPR, on infrastructure within the EU.

What’s next?

Gdańsk is just the beginning. We’re in talks with other zoos in Poland and abroad — and every new feature developed in collaboration with one zoo is rolled out to all the others.
